Pronunciation: only at the end of a word, usually a feminine ending. Connects only to the right — a gap opens behind it.

Easy to confuse
Many Arabic letters share the same body and differ only by dots above or below. In a tattoo a single dot decides which letter is there — ب، ت and ث have the same bowl. Tattooed too small, the dot blurs as the skin heals.
