Two names for a couple, three for a small family: each name is transliterated separately, then joined into one line with "و" — the Arabic word for "and". Just like with single names: without a confirmed dictionary entry, a spelling is an approximation, not a certified one.

Can I join more than three names?
The tool is deliberately capped at two or three names — with more, the line usually gets too long and hard to read for a tattoo or engraving. For larger families, pick the two or three most important names, or commission a calligrapher for a custom layout.
Why doesn't "and" appear as its own separate word in Arabic?
و is a one-letter word in Arabic that attaches directly to the following word — that's correct, not a shorthand. It looks unfamiliar at first glance, but it's the standard way to write it.
